Nexus Studio exists because a failed test should say what happened, and because the record of your product at work belongs with you.
Why it exists
Most test runners paint the same red for a slow network, a dead browser and a real defect, and someone loses a morning finding out which. Cloud QA platforms keep your test data and evidence on their servers, where a team with strict rules about its data often cannot send them. Nexus Studio answers both: a verdict per test and per engine, on hardware you own.
Four principles
It runs on your machines.
The Studio runs on your Windows 11 PC or mini PC. Its engine runs the suites there, in Docker on that machine, or over SSH on another machine on your network. Tests, evidence and history stay on those disks, and the only connection to us is the license check.
Your code stays standard.
The Nexus Recorder, the AI writer and the Test Adapter write Playwright, Selenium or pytest code your team can read, edit and keep. There is no proprietary format to migrate into or out of.
Verdicts are honest.
Fourteen verdicts separate a real defect from a slow network, a bot challenge or a dead browser. A retry that passes is FLAKY, never a quiet pass, and self-healing proposes a fix but leaves the run red until you choose.
Evidence can be verified.
Every file of a sealed record is hashed with SHA-256 and chained to the record before it. Verify names the first record that changed, instead of asking you to trust a dashboard.
Who builds it
Nexus Studio is made by Verdict System LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States. It is a small company, and it says what it does not do yet: no SSO, no SOC 2 report, a Studio for Windows only, and iPhones covered through WebKit rather than on a device.
Nexus Studio is a desktop application for automated QA testing: it records, runs and keeps evidence of Playwright, Selenium and pytest tests. It has no connection with Nexus Studios, the creative studio in London, or with any other company of a similar name.
